Oberve essas construções:
Maria is a nurse. She works every day.
Para unirmos as duas orações precisamos
de um “conector”. Este é um pronome
relativo”, ou seja, estabelece uma ‘relação’
entre duas orações, liga as duas orações:
Maria is a nurse who works every day.
My PC is the fastest. It costs too much.
My PC is the fastest which costs too much.
It is my dog. It barks all night long.
It is my dog that barks all night long.
Os relative pronouns são:
Who = ‘que/quem’ para pessoas.
Which = ‘que’ para objetos e animais
That = ‘que/quem’ para todos.
