SECTORS
 Microsoft Corporation develops, manufactures, licenses, sells,
and supports software products. The Company offers
operating system software, server application software,
business and consumer applications software, software
development tools, and Internet and intranet software.
Microsoft also develops video game consoles and digital
music entertainment devices.
STRUCTURE AND OWNERSHIP
 Microsoft was founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen on April 4,
1975, to develop and sell BASIC interpreters for the Altair
8800.
 Steve Ballmer replaced Gates as CEO in 2000, and later
envisioned a "devices and services" strategy. This unfolded
with Microsoft acquiring Danger Inc. in 2008, entering the
personal computer production market for the first time in
June 2012 with the launch of the Microsoft Surface line of
tablet computers, and later forming Microsoft Mobile
through the acquisition of Nokia's devices and services
division.
SOURCES OF INCOME
Devices : Xbox, Phones, Computers, Tablets.

Accessories : Headsets, Earphones, Bluetooth Speaker, Cables etc.

Licenses: Office 365

Subscriptions: Xbox Live, Office 365

COMPETITORS
 Microsoft biggest competitor is Apple.
 Both have the same marketing strategies.
 They both are usually fighting for the top spot when there's a
new release of a similar product.
 Personally., I think Apple is better when it comes to portable
devices ( Phones, Tablets Etc).
 Although I would prefer Microsoft when it comes to
Computers.
