WHAT IS STRESS?

 Stress can be defined as our mental , physical,


emotional and behavioural reactions to any
perceived demands or threats.

 It is a “wear and tear ” our minds and bodies


experience as we attempt to cope with our
continually changing environment.

o Stressors are causes of stress.
o Stress is a part of lives.
o It is not possible to live stress free.
o Managing stress in positive way prepare us for increasing lifes challenges.
