    A FEW OF HSTORY
    It was a third park built in the city, the inauguration of the park was made on
    agoust 2 of 1934, the president Enrique Olaya Herrera attented and was one
    of it’s important promoters, on 1954 the community switzerland gift a clock
    that is in the center of the park.
    CHARACTERISTICS
    It’s located at a height between 2600 and 3150 meters above sea level,
    between of the streets 36 and 39 with seventh career, it has different
    monuments that are connected by roads in the park, it has 283 hectares, the
    river arzobispo crosses it’s oriental sector.
    As usual the park is always clean, because is very important for the population
    and tourists, but the pollution affects the ecosystem of the park.
    HOW TO PROTECT THE NATIONAL PARK?

    We have a duty of conserve and protect the national park because is very importan for the city
    and keeps the ecosystem in balance, but the pollution is icreasingly. So we can protect the park
    like this:
    • Using the garbage
    • Do not waste the wáter
    • Don´t throw the trash
    • Don’t make bonfires
    • Protect the nature as the tress
    • Use the properly the facilities of the park
