treatment of water in any form, is required.
Form I prescribed under Air (Prevention and Control of
Pollution) Union Territory Rules, 1983 where discharge of emissions are
involved in any process, operation or industry.
Any other information or document which is necessary in the
opinion of the Board for their final disposal of the application.

Composition of public hearing panel:

panchayats;
6. Not more than three senior citizens of the area
nominated by the District Collector.

Response/Commitment of Project Proponents Suggestions made by the Public
Hearing Panel
All mining activities will be done in 24.865 ha only, no
activities will be done outside the ML.
After discussions with local panchayat we will start
mining work. If there is any loss from mining
compensation will be paid to concern person through
panchayat.
20KL per day water will be used in mining activities
and water will be arranged from local wells through
tankers. 120 manpower will be used from local
population.
Dust will be suppressed by water spraying, plantation
will be done and water harvesting structures will be
constructed. All these works will be done by local
persons.
20 KL / day water will be arranged from local wells
through tankers and mostly wollastonite will be used
in ceramics tiles etc.
Mining activities will be started after obtaining all
permissions within a year and plantation of local
species will be done by local experienced persons.
120 local villagers will be employed in mining
activities and our priorities is to employ local persons
and overall development of local persons.

On the basis of public hearing following provision are made –
• Employment of local persons will be maximum out of employment
proposed in the project.
• Workers for plantation will be employed from local worker.
• For damage to land of local people compensation will be paid through
panchayat.
• Regular monitoring of water required for the project & source and
ground water depletion will be done.
• Dust control measures provided and will be regularly monitored.
• Impact on cattle grazing will be regularly monitoring.
• Sub committee will be formed in association with local panchayat and
senior citizen of the area and records will be maintained on 6 monthly
basis.
