Balancing

• Balancing is define as technique to determine the location

of the heavy spot so that we can reduce the equal amount
of weight (which causes vibration or unbalance weight) or
add equal amount of weight opposite to the heavy spot.
 Heavy spot
• It is location which cause static unbalance.
• It is location of unbalance vector at specific lateral location on shaft.
• It does not change with changing the speed of the shaft.
