 The male reproductive parts are

composed of the testicles or testes,


scrotum, epididymis, vas deferens,
seminal vesicle, prostate gland,
Cowper’s gland, penis and urethra.
SCROTUM- sac like organ made of
skin and muscles that houses the
testes.
TESTES – also known as testicles.
Male gonads responsible for the
production of sperm and
testosterone
EPIDIDYMIS – Sperm storage area
wraps around the superior and
posterior edge of the testes.
VAS DEFERENS – muscular tube
that carries sperm from the
epididymis to the ejaculatory duct.
URETHRA – where urine and semen passes
through.
PROSTATE – Produces fluid that makes up
semen.
COWPER’S GLANDS – also known as
bulbourethral glands . Pair of exocrine
glands that secrete a thin alkaline fluid that
lubricates the urethra and neutralizes acid
from urine.
PENIS – Male external sexual organ
that contains the urethra and external
opening of the urethra. Its function is
to deliver semen into the vagina
during sexual intercourse.
SEMEN- fluid produced by males that
contains sperm and other chemicals
suspended in a liquid medium
SPERM – Male reproductive
gamete
The female reproductive parts are the: 1. Cervix
known as the birth canal, 2, Uterus allows
sperm to enter and menstrual blood to exit, 3.
Ovaries produce eggs and hormones; 4.
Fallopian tubes serve as tunnels for the ova to
travel from the ovaries to the uterus;
The female reproductive system is designed for
conception, pregnancy and childbirth.
