Overall Objective of the SRC Partnership between
Makassar and Singapore

1. To train 1 PD physician ( dr Nasrum Machmud ) in PD Program

Management, and 1 PD Nurse ( Nurmala ) in PD Nursing
Management in Tan Tock Seng Hospital 14-24 July 2019

2. Tan Tock Seng Hospital ( Prof. Adrian and team) will visit Wahidin
Sudirohusodo Hospital Makassar on 3 – 4 october 2019 to
evaluate the PD programme in Makassar

3. Basic Clinical & Nursing PD Training workshop in 5-6 October

2019 in Makassar by Prof. Adrian and nephrology team
 Measurable objectives year 1

4. ISN will evaluate in every 3 months period

5. To develop and implement protocols on PD assesment, PO catheter

isertion, PD training and PD prescription initiation by end of first year

6. To Initiate 20 new PD patients by year of first year

 Measurable objective year 2

1. To develop and implement protocols on exit site care, manegement of

exit infection and peritonitis, fluid overload and outpatient protocols by
end of second year

2. To reduce PD peritonitis rates by 50% by end of second year

3. To extend mean technique survival by 6 months by the end of second

year

4. To initiate 25 new patients on peritoneal dialysis by end of second

year

5. To do Train the Trainers Workshop

6. ISN will evaluate in every 3 month period
