• In experimental works, an output function although periodic is often

express in the form of set of readings, so direct integration to obtain
the relevant Fourier coefficients is not possible.

• Therefore, an approximated method called harmonic analysis is used.

• The concept of definite integral is equivalent to finding the area

under the curve is applied in the approximation.
