proponents to officially declare their
intention to engage in a particular
activity.
Developers are legally required to
register their conceived project
concepts or proposals.

Approaches to Registration
Proponent/Consultant fills-in specially
prepared forms that have guiding questions
Generally the following information is
required:
1. Objectives, type, and size of the project
2. Possible location(s) of the project
3. Project demand in terms of land area, raw
materials, services/utilities, labour force, etc.
4. Tentative project development plan (i.e at different
phases).
5. Description of the project's socio-economic and
biophysical environment.
6. Envisaged future extension of the project activities
