MONDRIAN

• Piet Mondrian (1872-1944) was a dutch artist who is most famous for
his contribution to abstract art through works in which he used only
the straight line, the primary colors ,and the neutrals of black,white
and gray.
• Art that is abstract does not show things that are recognizable such as
People , objects or landscapes.Instead artists use colours,shapes and
textures to achieve their effect.
• Mondrain layout, named after the dutch painter piet mondrain.
Involved in a lifetime affair with proportion,mondrain using black bars
and lines and solid areas of primary color, divided his canvases into
vertical and horizontal rectangles and squares.
