 INTRODUCTION

It was very good and enjoyable project given by our course instructor that is to invest in trading
of shares in stock market. Before start my project I am defining what is stock trading or trading
of shares.

Stock Market :
• Stock Market is an organized market where securities of companies are bought or sold.
• It is established for the purpose of assisting , regulating and controlling business in buying
selling and dealing in securities.
• In the stock market only those securities listed in the stock exchange are transacted

Shares:
• Shares trading is the buying and selling of company stock – or derivative products based on
company stock – in the hope of making a profit. Shares represent a portion of the ownership of a
public company, and make up its worth or market cap.
As per requirement of project we have to trade on Investopedia Stimulator to invest 200,000$ with two
account one as Debt Investment and Equity Investment.

 Equity Investment Account: Where cost of Capital is 30 %.

 Debt Investment Account : Where cost of Capital is 12 %.

Below are the position of my both account as on ending date of trading as per project requirement.

Trading from Debt Account I have done trading of shares on both future market & Ready market on
Newyork Stock Exchange & NASDAQ.

 From Debt Account I have managed to earn gross profit of $126,903.

 Net Profit earned $124,233 after deducting commission ($1,040) and cost of capital of debt account
fund ($2,630)

 In this I only traded stocks of two Companies Shopify & Zoom Communication.

CONCLUSION:
It was very good project for understand the dynamics of Trading of Shares in Equity Market. It
developed analyticals skills of student to understand the companies growth ,performance , business
environment and impact of Global Economy Crises on companies operations and their earnings.
