About the Industry:
 Plasti surge industry pvt ltd.(PSI) manufactures the
products which are useful in the medical field. The
products likewise apron, gloves, surgeon cap etc are
manufactured in the PSI pvt ltd. The industry
provides the products to the various hospitals. The
products are also provided to the various
government organizations across the country.
Through tender all the process is carried out. Lets
discuss the manufacturing process and other
important aspects of the industry.
 
Manufacturing process :

 Every industry consist of certain raw materials.

 Manufacturing of all the products consist of both
manual and automation method.
 The work like stretching, rolling and shaping are
done by means of automation.
 But the procedure like packing, folding etc are
done by means of manual process.
 The materials used in this industry apart from raw
materials are made from granules.
Granules:
Types of Granules:

 High density polyethylene.(HDPE)

 Low density linear polyethylene (LLDPE)
List of products:

 Gloves
 Shoe cover
 Apron
 Bed sheet
 Surgeon cap
Film Plant:

 To make material from the granules we must have to mix the

granules according to their proportion with respect to the
material requirement.
 To mix this mixture with the granules here we have to separate

pot like dome by means of which the mixing process takes place.
 The mixture of the granules mixes thoroughly.(proportion wise).

 The mixtures of the granules we have to feed in hoper.

  Heating the granules from the liquid material forms granules.

 After the formation of liquid from the granules it gets cooled to

form the thin plastic like materials.

  The air is provided by means of three phase
squirrel cage induction motor having speed of 2830
rpm.
Conclusion:
 
 In this way I have completed my 46 days internship
at PSI pvt ltd. During the internship I studied brief
working of PSI pvt ltd. Also I focused on the
production sector as well as the studied about the
various schemes related to the industry.
