THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING

A. Not just to invite your

husband to become a Gideon,

alongside him –TOGETHER– and
join The Auxiliary of The
Gideons International
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BECOME AN
AUXILIARY MEMBER?
A. Much of what the (Gideon AMD speaker) has
just shared applies to the Auxiliary as well.
 
B. The spiritual qualifications are the same for
the Auxiliary.
You must:
 believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, inerrant
Word of God
 believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of
God
 have received Christ as your own personal
Savior
 be a member in good standing of an
evangelical church or congregation
PURPOSE OF THE AUXILIARY
The purpose of the Auxiliary
is to assist the Gideons in
carrying out their objective
of winning others through:
A. Prayer
B. Witnessing
C. Distribution of God’s Word

Reading Calendar and Prayer
Calendars)
2. Regular Prayer Meetings
3. Spiritual growth through our
Spiritual Objectives

B. WITNESSING

1. Learn how to be a witness

2. Use and avail the Personal
Workers Testament (PWT)
a. Purchase Testaments for witnessing
b. Helps in front of Testament and plan of
salvation in back.

C. DISTRIBUTION OF GOD’S WORD

a. Facilities Testaments; used in
correctional facilities, domestic
violence shelters, and crisis pregnancy
centers
b. Medical Testaments to all medical and
supportive medical personnel
c. Bibles in medical and dental offices and
industrial plants.

Speaking of time,
some of you may be
thinking, do I have
time to be an
Auxiliary member?
How much time does
it take?
Answer:
It could be as much as 15 minutes a
day, 3 hours a week, or whatever God
allows you to use for the work of the
Auxiliary.
Let God take care of your time. He
will work it out.
Commit your time to the Lord and Let
Him manage your time.

We read in Proverbs 11:30, “…he that winneth souls is

wise.”
