Enlighten- give someone greater knowledge and understanding about a subject or situation.
making a research successfully. This chapter includes the research design, research locale, research instrument,
population of samples, gathering of data procedure and the statistical treatment. These methodologies will help the
researcher and the readers to fully understand the process of the study.
Research Design and Sampling
This study utilized the descriptive-survey in order to achieve the purpose of this study which is to determine
the Effectivity of K-12 curriculum to the Grade XII Senior High School Students of Poblacion Polomolok National
High School. It is descriptive because that data obtained were observed and analyzed. The sampling techniques
used was the random sampling, each question was given randomly to the students.
Instrumentation and Validation
The researcher proposed a 5-point Likert-type questionnaire to answer the problem of their study, this
questionnaire consist of 12 questions to be answer by the students. The survey questionnaire was submitted and
validated in order to know if the questions are relevant to the statement of the problem.
The survey questionnaire will be given to the grade 12 students of Poblacion Polomolok National High School
regarding the Effectiveness of K to 12 curriculum. The questionnaire is composed of questions that are relevant to
the topic of the study. Nevertheless, the respondents will provide answer to these questions regarding their views
about the effects of these implementation.
Research Locale

Pagalungan Polomolok South Cotabato.
The respondents to be included were the grade 12 students who are currently taking the K to 12 curriculum. Since
the focus of these study was the grade 12 students of the school.
The study was conducted during the school year 2018-2019.

population is composed of 405 grade 12 students of different strand and different track of Poblacion
Polomolok National High School, 20% of these population were selected to be the main respondents of
the researcher, whereas 80 students are chosen to answer the survey questionnaire. Each survey
questionnaire is given randomly to the students.

The researcher follows certain procedures in conducting this study.
The first step before distributing the questionnaire is to make a letter of request upon approval; the letter was
approved by the subject teacher of the researchers; the letter was retrieved. The researcher made an appropriate
questionnaire that will be given to the students and let the students answer these each question which they think
correct.
Survey questionnaire have been given to each section who are covered by the researcher’s study.
The following result of the survey will be tabulated and tallied. The data gathered in this survey will be the basis of
data interpretation and analysis.
Statistical Treatment
The statistical treatment used in this study are Frequency count,
weighted mean and Likert Scale patterned were used to interpret the
gathered data. After all the data were analyzed, all variable was totaled
and computed the overall weighted mean and were given interpretation.
CHAPTER IV
PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA
This chapter presents the analysis and interpretation of data. The data were taken
from the responses to the questionnaire. Frequency count, weighted mean and Likert
Scale patterned in the Merciadez study (2010) were used to interpret the gathered
data. After all the data were analyzed, all variable was totaled and computed the
overall weighted mean and were given interpretation.
