SCOPE AND LIMITATION

The study focused on the academic challenges faced by Colegio de San Antonio
de Padua AIS students in their limited face-to-face classes in the first semester of the
academic year 2022-2023.

However, it was limited to the analysis of the profile of the respondents in terms
of gender, age, and year level.

The variables that comprise this study are academic transition, time management,
and face-to-face examination as independent variables, and academic challenges faced by
AIS students as the dependent variables.

The data were gathered through a survey questionnaire. Then, the data were
treated statistically using Percentage, Mean, and Chi-square test.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

This study was conducted to provide crucial information and knowledge

regarding the topic.

The researchers believe that this study is beneficial to the following:

Students. Participants in this study are Colegio de San Antonio de Padua AIS students.
Students, not just AIS students, are more likely to have difficulties adjusting their
learning strategies during the academic transition. This study could help students address
their challenges and improve the state of their well-being in challenging academic
situations.

Teachers: Teachers might use this study as a reference to perceive the students’
difficulties in their limited face-to-face classes and help the learners in strengthening their
study techniques. Additionally, this enables educators to monitor their students and
gather new ideas.
Researchers: The researchers are expected to gain knowledge for their benefit in
conducting the study. Through this study, the researchers can also determine the most
common challenges faced by students in their limited face-to-face classes and provide an
assessment to overcome such problems.

Future Researchers: The findings of this study will be useful to future researchers who
want to conduct further research on the related field. This study may benefit them as it
provides information to support their study and this could also be used as their basis and
guide to their research.
