 PROJECT BRIEF

This road is situated between Auri mod to Shaktinar. There are various plants and
industries (Anpara power Plant, Renusagar Power Plant, Shaktinagar Power
Plant, Khadiya cole Mines, Kakri Pariyozana, Krishnshila, duddhichua coal mines
and units of lanco Power Plant) are placed in the alignment of road. Also this road
is connecting MP boder Sinrauli district. Due to above reasons traffic density is
very high at the stretch of this road.

Benifit of Widening and strengthening of this road

1 The people located nearby area shall be benefited from congestion of traffic.
2 This will be helpful for the patrolling of police force as it naxel affected area.
3 This district border is connected with the border of four districts MP,
Chattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar. So it will also beneficial to transportation
from these district.

 The problem face during the commissioning of the
project

 Auri Shaktinagar Road is sanctiond by UP Government order no

33/2018/936/23-12-18-549/2017 dated 07.05.2018.
 This road is sanction under Central Road Fund Scheme and utility shifting
was not included in the original sanctioned estimate.
 Approximate all the length of the road is affected by forest land. The principal
approval for transfer of forest land is sanctioned on date 09.09.2019.
 The works under utility shifting ( Forest land transfer, Tree cutting, Electrical
Pole shifting and Hand pump shifting)is sanction by UP Government order no
681/23-11-2019-1/231/2019 dated 12.12.2019 of Rs 6.50 crore.
 Then the amount is paid to Electrical Department, Forest Department,Van
Nigam and Jal Nigam according to their approved estimate.
 The problem face during the commissioning of the
project

 Tree cutting is started by Van Nigam on date 20.03.2020 and pole shifting is
started by Electrical Department by date 21.07.2020.
 At present 910 tress is cut downed from total 1787, 105 new pole is placed from
total 753 and 31 handpump is shifted from total 49.
 The progress of construction is affected also COVID-19 and lockdown.
Removal of encroachment is not completed due to occupancy of district
administration in management from the protection of COVID-19.
 Earthwork, GSB and WMM work is under progress as per the availability of land
at Site.
