order to win Allah’s approval, its payer do
indeed increases their wealth.
Ar-Rum-39
People who pay Zakat are
Successful

Those who establish regular

Prayer and give regular Zakat and
have (in their hearts) the
assurance of the Hereafter.

Luqman/04
People who will be rewarded

Allah deprives Interest of all blessing and

develops Charity, and Allah does not like an
ungrateful, sinful person. As to those who believe
and do good deeds, establish Salat and pay
Zakat, they will most surely have their reward
with their Lord and they will have nothing to fear
nor to grieve.
Al Baqra
Zakat is Over and Above the Normal Sadaqat
Zakat is Over and Above the Normal Sadaqat
It is no virtue that you turn your faces towards
the east or the west, but virtue is that one should
sincerely believe in Allah and the Last Day and
the Angels and the Book and the Prophets and,
out of His love, spend of one's choice wealth for
relatives and orphans, for the needy and the
wayfarer, for beggars and for the ransom of
slaves, and establish Salat and pay Zakat. And
the virtuous are those who keep their pledges
when they make them and show fortitude in
hardships and adversity and in the struggle
between the Truth and Falsehood; such are the
Truthful people and such are the Pious
Al-Baqara-177

spend in the way of Allah, proclaim a grievous
punishment, on the day when it (horded

hoarded up for yourself, now taste what you

snake with two black spots over the
eyes. The snake will encircle his neck
and bite his cheeks and say, “ I am
your wealth, I am your treasure,”

Al Bokhari 486, Chapter Zakat

Why Muslims are Suffering
 "O Muhajirun, beware of five traits: if ever immorality
spreads in a community and there is no sense of shame on
its occurrence or mentioning it [and people talk about it as if
nothing bad has taken place], diseases which were not
present in the time of their predecessors will spread among
them. If they decrease the measure and weight (of sold
grains or food), they will be overcome by poverty, their
provisions will decrease and their ruler will be unjust. If they
refrain from paying the zakah due on their properties, they
will be deprived of rain, unless they get it only for the sake of
their cattle. If they renounce their commitment to Allah and
His Messenger, they will be governed by an enemy who is a
stranger to them and who will take away some of what they
possess. If their rulers do not rule according to Allah's Book,
they will be afflicted by civil war. Allah forbid that these
should happen to you."
Ibn Maja
O my Lord! Be merciful to us because of (our link with)
the Quran; Make it for us a leader, and a source of
light, guidance and mercy, cause us to recall from it
what we have failed to understand; give us strength to
recite it day and night; and make it a plea for our
salvation, O Lord of the worlds – Ameen!
