After reading the module, I gained
three important insights about life.
First, I learned that these theories
are really important for us to be
able to know how we, human
acquired the second language and
what factors can affect our ability to
acquire the language.
3 Things I learned
I also learned that there are many
factors that may cause success in
second language acquisition such as,
learners’ personalities, intellectual
abilities, aptitude, learning styles,
motivation, and age acquisition. And
I think that the most important
factor which really have a role in
learning second language
successfully is motivation.
Because it stimulates the desire
energy in learners to be continually
interested. Therefore, they acquire
the target language effectively.
Besides, motivation has two main
kinds, which is first, refers to social
rewards and second, refers to
personal growth and enrichment.
And I feel myself more with the first
type.

Two ideas that I want to learn more about is first, the Second is about the stages or process of second
barriers that hinder its acquisition during second language acquisition. Because I believe by knowing
language acquisition. the stages of language acquisition, I can engage my
future students at the correct level of discussion.

One question I have is about the similarities and differences between first and second language acquisition.
I want to enhance my knowledge and understanding about this topic.
