A folio usually contains the


page number, the date of
publication and the name of
the newspaper.

The masthead is the editorial box


containing the logo of the newspaper,
names and positions of the staff,
subscription rate, the publisher and
other pertinent information about the
newspaper. It is also called ‘flag’

commentary made by any of the
editors s(usually, of the editor-in-
chief) on any subject. It is the
stand of the paper for the day.
