Perishable Goods

A perishable good is any product in which quality deteriorates

due to environmental conditions through time, such as meat
and meat by-products, fish and seafood, dairy products, fruit
and vegetables, flowers, pharmaceutical products, and
chemicals.
Supply chain management plays vital role during trade of
perishable goods.
Due to lack of knowledge about SCM daily a lot of
Complication and problems have to face by Vegetable sellers.
Objective of the Report

• This report was commissioned to examine the supply chain

management of highly perishable goods.
• The researchers draws attention to fact what really is a supply
chain in Balkhu vegetable market.
• Most of business are still unaware of the term supply chain as well
as out sourcing. Some who are familiar to the term are indifferent
in managing it.
• This report try to identify and solve the problems related of SCM in
perishable goods business.
Main purpose of this report is to evaluate and improve supply chain
management performance.
