Students and teachers both need to listen
and debate to other’s ideas and to use
debates to establish common
understandings.
Dialogue can be conducted in many ways,
such as :
Teacher announce the topic in advance
and students prepare the topic for
presentation;
Teacher form different groups of learners
and arranges dialogues among the groups;
Teacher announces the topic and initiate
the discussion through questioning and
probing.
