THE FUTURE OF BOGOTÁ
 by 2029 Bogotá will be in an economic
recession
• This prediction will come true in 2029 or earlier, because due to
corruption Bogotá will not progress as there will be no resources to invest.
 By the year 2030, poorer neighborhoods in the city will have turned
into disgusting toilets because city dumps will have overflown their
capacity…

• This prediction will come true in 2030 since the "Doña Juana Dump" will
no longer have the capacity for all garbage, since the population does not
have the culture of recycling and reusing
 By 2034 the air in Bogotá will not be
breathable
• This prediction will come true in 2034 as Bogotá's public transport will be
so obsolete that it will cause much of the pollution.
By the year 2050, most sweet water sources
will have dried-off…
• This projection will become a reality in the year 2050, since climate
change will make Bogotá have stations where the temperature reaches 32
°, which will make the rivers dry up.
 by 2040 Bogotá will no longer be the
capital of Colombia
• This prediction will come true in 2040 as Colombia will realize that the
country's capital must be near a port for the economy to develop better.
 By 2046 80% of the population will live in
extreme poverty
• This prediction will come true in 2046 since, not being the main city, all
the important companies will migrate to the new capital, leaving
thousands of people without jobs.
 By 2050 the eastern hills will be left without
vegetation, this due to contamination
• This prediction will come true in 2040 as the ozone layer will be so
deteriorated that climate change will cause several fires and Bogotá will
not have the capacity to extinguish them.

• This prediction will come true in 2059 as the contamination will be so
high that breathing the air from the environment will cause fatal diseases.
 Unfortunately, by the end of the century the problem of erotion that
will have been attacking its mountains will have reached a point of
no-return.

• This prediction will come true in 2090, as the greenhouse effect will cause
this irreversible damage.
 By the year 2100 Bogotá will be fully habitable

• My prediction will come true in 2100 since people are unaware of the
damage they do to the planet and when they realize it it will be too late
