What does Trenchless Technology mean?

• Trenchless technology is a form of underground construction that


requires the use of few or no trenches at surface or street level.
• Uses new techniques and equipment to install or replace underground
infrastructure without causing disturbance to the ground above. 
• Its goal is to avoid interfering with surface-level activities, including
traffic, businesses, residential areas or people.
What does Trenching mean?

• Trenching is a construction method that involves digging a trench in


the ground to install, maintain or inspect pipes, conduits or cables
underground. . 
• When the installation of the pipe, conduit or cable is completed, the
trench is backfilled and disturbed grounds are returned to their original
state, insofar as possible.
