» TERMS OF THE ESC GRANT

1. The grant covers four years of junior

high school starting from Grade 7. No
grants are awarded at higher grade
levels.
2. The grant remains in force for the next
school year.
3. The grant remain in force even if the
grantee enrolls to other ESC-
participating school.
4. No maintaining grades.
» GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION OF THE
GRANT
1. Drops out for non-health reasons;
2. Does not reenroll the next school year;
3. Fails to be promoted to the next year
level;
4. Suspended for 2 weeks, dismissed or
expelled for disciplinary reasons;
5. Transfers to a non-ESC-participating
school
» TEACHER QUALIFICATION OF THE TSS
PROGRAM
1. Have a valid PRC License or pass the LET
before August 15

2. Employed by the school before August 15

3. Teach ESC grantees for at least 3 hours/week

PROGRAM
1.Automatically Qualified Students

A. Grade 10 completers in Public JHS

B. Grade 10 completers in SUCs and LUCs
C. Grade 10 completers in ESC-participating JHS

2.Voucher Applicants
A. Grade 10 completers from non-ESC participating
schools
B. Those who took ALS, A&E, and PEPT and are
certified for admission to Grade 11
» THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT ELIGIBLE

1. Those who graduated High School in March

2015 or earlier

2. Those who completed Grade 10 before S:Y:

2017- 2018

3. Incoming Grade 12 students who are not part

VP in Grade 11

4. Non-Filipino students
