EPIDERMIS

• The epidermis is the outer


skin layer.
• The dermis connects the epidermis to the
underlying tissues. It is composed largely
of nerve endings, blood vessels and muscle
fibers

DERMIS
• The deepest of the skin layer is
the subcutaneous. It supplies
fat to our body. It insulates the
body against heat and cold and
also acts as an inner cushion to
protect the body against
injuries.
