DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM

One of the sources of protein in the human diet
are red meat animals, they are produced by
greenhouse gases that cause damage in the
atmosphere. According to Worldwide, ruminant
production contributes 18% of total greenhouse
gases. That is why this project seeks to create a
mushroom product that has protein content that
replaces meat.

RESEARCH QUESTION
How to develop a product based on mushrooms,
grown at home that can replace the protein
content provided by red meat?

GENERAL AND SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE

GENERAL
To developing a powdered product that allows people to
replace animal protein based on mushrooms such as
orellanas - oyster – crimini
SPECIFIC
 To identify the protein contribution that fungi such as
orellanas - oyster - crimini can make to the human diet
 To developing a homemade edible mushroom growing
method
 To make the powdered mushroom-based product to
replace red meat protein
