Hyderabad is the capital of the Indian


state of Telangana and de jure
capital of Andhra Pradesh. Occupying
650 square kilometres along the
banks of the Musi River, it has a
population of about 6.7 million and a
metropolitan population of about 7.75
million, making it the fourth most
populous city in India

Golkonda Fort was first built by the Kakatiya
About Golkonda
dynasty as part of their western defenses along the
lines of the Kondapalli Fort. The city and the fortress
were built on a granite hill that is 120 meters
(390 ft) high, surrounded.
The Golkonda Fort used to have a vault where once
the famous ”Koh-i-Noor” and ”Hope diamonds” were
stored along with other diamonds.
Hussain sagar

Hussain Sagar was built across a tributary of the river Musi


river in 1563 by Ibrahim “Quli Qutub Shah”.

Hussain Sagar, a heritage site of India was declared as the


'Heart of the World' by UNWTO on 27 September 2012, on
the occasion of World Tourism Day, for being the World's
Largest Heart Shaped Mark, the World's Heritage Heart
shaped Mark, and the World's Wonderful Heart Shaped Mark
on the face of the earth 
BIRLA MANDIR

Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple, built on a 280


feet (85 m) high hillock called Naubath Pahad on
a 13 acres (53,000 m2) plot. 

The construction took 10 years and was


opened in 1976 by
Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna
Mission.
MUSI NADHI
 Musi River is a tributary of the Krishna
River in the Deccan Plateau flowing
through Telangana state in india.
  Hyderabad stands on the banks of Musi
river, which divides the historic old city and
the new city.
