army.
 His mother’s father was a justice of the Queen’s
Bench , while his paternal grandfather was an
archdeacon of Salisbury.
 These two men played a vital role in inlfuencing
Fielding to be interested in law, to have great love to
learning , and above all to have a firm sense of
Christian morality.
