Industrial 4.0
• Different countries are using different terms to describe
their national strategy in terms of Industry 4.0. Among
other terms used include:
• “Smart Manufacturing” in the United States;
• “Made in China 2025” for China;
• “Manufacturing Innovation 3.0” (South Korea);
• “Industrial Value Chain Initiative” Japan; and
• “Smart Nation Programme” (Singapore)
