Apple
Apple Inc.— is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino,
California, that designs, develops and sells consumer electronics, computer software,
and online services. It is considered one of the Big Tech technology companies,
alongside Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Facebook.
1970s “Beginning”
The company was founded in California by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, who assembled their
first personal computer based on the MOS Technology 6502 processor in the mid-1970s. Having
sold several dozen of these computers, young entrepreneurs received funding and officially
registered Apple Computer, Inc. April 1, 1976.
“The stage of rapid growth”
The first mainstream personal computer, produced in millions of copies, was the Apple II. In the late
1970s and early 1980s, the Apple II and its clones were the most widely used personal computers in
the world. More than 5 million Apple II computers have been sold worldwide.
It is now generally accepted that it was the "Apple II" that once and for all opened a wide road for a
new industry - the production of personal computers.
1980s
The 1980 year in Apple's
history was marked by the
failure of the Apple III project
for several reasons, but at the
same time the company
conducted the largest initial
public offering (IPO) in
history. In March 1981,
Wozniak got into a plane crash
and left his job for a while.
Problems with Apple III sales
led to the fact that Jobs had to
lay off 40 employees.
In 1984, Apple introduced the new
32-bit Macintosh computer for the
first time. Subsequently, the release
of computers of this series became
the main business of the company.
For two decades, the company has
produced Macintosh computers based
on Motorola processors and equipped
with a proprietary operating system.
This platform is produced only by
Apple - for a short time in the mid-
1990s, management decided to grant
licenses for the production of Mac-
compatible computers, but the
licenses were later revoked.
Earlier than other developers, Apple
introduced the graphical user
interface and the computer mouse
into wide use. In 1985, US President
Ronald Reagan awarded Jobs and
Wozniak medals for the
development of technological
progress. In the same year, one of
the founders, Steve Jobs, left the
company.
1990s - 2000s “stabilization”

By the end of the 1990s, Apple's business had deteriorated sharply, by 1997, losses in
two years amounted to $ 1.86 billion. The situation changed with the return of Jobs in
1997. Apple began to gradually discover new markets not directly related to computer
technology.
“Rise”
In 2001, the company introduced the iPod, which quickly gained popularity.
In 2003, the company opened the iTunes Store, a popular online supermarket for
digital audio, video and game media content.
And in 2007 it entered the market of mobile phones with a touchscreen
smartphone iPhone.
2010s “Rise”
In 2010, the iPad was launched on the market.
In 2013, Apple Corporation first began mass production of 64-bit ARM-architecture chips with
the release of the 64-bit 2-core Apple A7 microprocessor.
In 2014, the corporation introduced its first personal, wearable device - the Apple Watch.
The production of iPod, iPhone
and iPad, which were in high
demand around the world,
dramatically improved Apple's
financial position, bringing the
company record profits. In August
2011, Apple became the world's
most valuable company for the
first time. In August 2012 it
became the most valuable
company in history, on November
13, 2014 again Apple broke its
record, its capitalization was $
663.43 billion.
Our time
Apple is currently releasing the most advanced iPhone 12 with a 5nm processor, the latest iPad that
can replace a laptop and more, Apple Watch smart watches, iMac and Mac Pro desktops, portable
and stationary HomePod speakers and many other new devices. And on November 17 there will be
a presentation of the new MacBook Air laptops.

My predictions
I think Apple will continue to
develop in those areas in which it
will now remain a world leader. I
also think that the company will go
further and break into the
automotive industry with its
electric car. Apple will be the
company that will introduce the
latest technologies and significantly
improve those that already exist.
