 Konsep Antisipasi
Involves identifying potential hazards in the workplace
before they are introduced.
Tujuan : untuk memperkirakan potensi bahaya yang
mungkin terdapat di tempat kerja yang dapat
menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan pekerja.
Antisipasi bisa dilakukan melalui :
1. Survey langsung ke lapangan
2. Mempelajari alur produksi (input-proses-output)
3. Studi literatur dengan bidang yang serupa
4. MSDs (Material Safety Data Sheet)
Antisipasi
During this first phase, industrial hygienists may review :
facility schematics,
purchase orders,
material safety data sheets (MSDSs),
standard operating procedures, or
any other information that might be of assistance in
focusing upon potential health hazards.

chemical, physical or biological agent - or an adverse
ergonomic situation - poses to health.
Rekognisi
Industrial hygienists perform qualitative and subjective
observations in an attempt to recognize potential health
hazards.
Performing inspections to identify specific processes
and methods in use at an operation, industrial
hygienists identify potential worker exposure to
environmental stressors.
Through the use of the human senses, industrial
hygienists maintain an awareness of their reactions
while involved in looking, listening, smelling, tasting,
or touching the key components of the workplace..
