intellect, and deals with some logics required to answer the difficult questions of the life.
Someone may define the philosophy as
“philosophy is rigorous, disciplined and guarded analysis of some of most difficult problems that man has
ever face, which require the best thoughts, of which man is capable of.

• The field of philosophy that deals with the educational difficulties, problems and
questions and find the best solution or answers for that specific matter is may titled
as educational philosophy.
• Educational philosophy has its roots under the basic philosophies.
• Each general philosophy has its educational philosophies on which the
complete educational system runs.
• Educational philosophy covers the each and every aspect of educational
system i.e: from curriculum process to the evaluation of the learners’ learning.
• Educational philosophy in nay educational settings is just like the back bone in
the body.

Branches of Philosophy
• Ontology:
Also known as metaphysics, deals with the questions or matters of
reality, as: existence of God or any supreme power, association of mind with
body, time, the whole and its parts and like these all.
• Epistemology:
Deals with knowledge, beliefs, perceptions, nature of truth or false.
• Axiology:
Deals with the values, right and wrong, good or bad, majorly deals with:
ethics which is about our attitude , aesthetics which explain the beauty.
