Introductions
•In this project of android development we are implementing the “weather
app” that will be based on Java and xml. Weather forecasting is the
application of science and technology to predict the conditions of the
atmosphere for a given location and time.
•Weather forecasts are made by collecting quantitative data about the current
state of the atmosphere at a given place and using meteorology to project
how the atmosphere will change.
•Human input is still required to pick the best possible forecast model to
base the forecast upon, which involves pattern recognition skills, tele-
connections, knowledge of model performance, and knowledge of model
biases.
•In this project many APIs are implemented to work together and give an
accurate output like maps is the basic feature of this app with the help of
which you can easily find places without searching them, just drop a pin
where you want to find the weather.

• Knowing what the day will bring is one good way to

making a perfect plan for each day. Sometimes this is
usually a difficult one for all us because nobody really
knows for certain what is likely to happen in the
nearest minutes.
• In order to minimize the risk of distorted daily plans
and arrangements, owing to changes in weather, there
is need to take close looks daily weather condition.
• This goes to help us realize the need and the
importance of weather forecast and its instruments,
including a weather app.
Why we need weather app

• To plan journeys ahead

• To plan meeting / commute timings.
• To decide what to wear.
• To know when rain comes or stops.
• To receive alerts / warnings during cyclones,
sandstorms, typhoons etc.

•Now the existing system is subjected to close study and problem
area are identified. The designer now functions as a problem
solver and tries to sort out the difficulties that the enterprise
faces. The solutions are given as proposals.
•This project actually solve the need of forecasting the weather
so a person can not be caught in storm as well as in rain.
•Our app is fully customized like, it will give information of
weather around you on your fingertips, reports on the real and
perceived temperature, wind speed etc.

• Weather and climate extremes affect every facet of society-economies, environments and
cultures. As a result, policy makers, planners, decision makers and other stakeholders are
increasingly seeking information on the nature of such extreme events on time scales from
hours to days, to seasons and to decades
• By this system weather forecasting report generation becomes easy. Less chances of
malfunctioning are there. The system has reached a steady state but still improvements are to
be made.
• The system operated at a high level of efficiency and all the work and user associated with the
system and with this we can understand its advantage.
• It was intended to solve as requirement specification. In future this system can be
implemented to all over the world and will be designed for cross platform.
