This document discusses the surgical treatment of a patient's radial head dislocation. It describes multiple operations the patient underwent at different hospitals to address the dislocation. At the third hospital, an operation was performed 34 days after the initial injury to reduce the redislocated radial head. Care was taken during the procedure to avoid injuring the posterior interosseous nerve which was near the displaced radial head. The surgeon noted stiffness and limited motion in the patient's wrist and elbow joints during the surgery under anesthesia.

The Surgeon might recognize the mal-reduction of the fracture. the 1st day after operation the 19th day after operation, transferred to another hospital Intra-operative c-arm view Intra-operative view, This surgeon try to reduce the dislocation of radial head. This is the second operation by the 2nd hospital 23rd day after the 1st operation We cannot always believe the talking of the patient. But he said that that day he took the Xray with extreme posture ordered by doctor.
29th day after 1st operation
redislocation of radial head, First of all, I couldn’t help but believed what the patient said. And I thought that when he took an x-ray about a week ago, there would have been dislocation.
He was transferred to my hospital
on the 34th day after the 1st operation. The next day, I performed the operation. This was the intraoperative view. This was one week after re-dislocation of the radial head.
Mini-incision, insert bone hook and pulled down
You should be careful not to injure the PIN.
Usually, the PIN is veray near the radial head because the upward displacement of the radial head. I will tell you how to protect the PIN. Risks of the fracture. can be slip to other ways. But I found that…. 1. During the operation(after anesthesia), stiffness of wrist, nearly fully contracture of the wrist joint with neutral postion. @ When I tried to make supination of the wrist, I couldn’t do that. 2. Also when I tried to make the rotation of the elbow joint after anethesia, the motion of the joint was really slight. 3. I could make the reduction of the dislocation. But Not Accurate. 4. I will keep the Steinman pin for 3 weeks. I should wait for 3 weeks.
