practiced by PB specifically for I2 project at Bukit Jelutong.

• To share knowledge and information regarding BIM

 INTRODUCTION

• BIM is the process of generating and managing building data

during its life cycle
• BIM enables a virtual information 3D model which covers all
the discipline of construction i.e. architect, infrastructure ,
structure , landscape and other services .
• BIM is single shared model with each professional will add
relevant data to the model

 ADVANTAGES OF USING BIM

• All the services can be coordinated before starting

construction work, BIM highlights to the construction team
where part of the building may wrongly intersect .
• Quantities can be easily extracted.
• Waste can be minimized
• Subcontractors from every trade can input the information
into the model
• Produce schedules & cost saving
