What is ClassDojo?

• ClassDojo is a classroom interaction application. It is a free

application that allows students to share their activities as photos and
videos, and provides effective communication between teachers and
parents.
What can you do with ClassDojo?
• Teachers can control all the work they do with their students, follow the
development of the child and ensure that the family is aware of the whole
process.
• Teachers can give feedback to students and present badges according to the
success of their students.
• Teachers can see their students' portfolio and give them the skills they want.
• They can create classroom stories that students can see. 
How To Use The App?
• You will be asked what type of account you
will receive on the login page.

• Choose the one that suits you

• After logging in as a teacher, we
come across a section like the
picture on the side.

• If we work at a school, we can

create a class by logging in with
our school, but we don‘t work at
a school, we can create a new
class.
• After creating a new class, we
can add students.

• The system gives students

different avatars, and students
can choose the avatar they want.

can randomly generate student
groups of any size, all with one
tap.
Noise Meter
• The noise meter can be helpful
when students are supposed to be
doing their their work quietly.

• This will help students be aware

of their noise level and create a
quieter classroom.
Directions
• Directions provide clear, visual
reminder for what teachers want
their students to do with this
tool.
Today
• With today part, we can type
daily announcements, a welcome
message, or morning work here.
Music
• Teachers can set the tone in
their classroom with the perfect
tunes for any activity.

• This helps students focus or

make free time a little more fun.
What can parents do with ClassDojo?
• ClassDojo enables parents to access to
this application through the
company’s website or by downloading
the iOS or Android apps.
• It is so designed that parents can
involve to this digital platform and can
communicate with the teacher about
the students.
• This leads to more effectively
communication between teacher and
parents.
What can parents do with ClassDojo?
• Parents can view their childrens`
breakdowns of behaviour for a chosen
time period.
• ClassDojo is not only limited for only
one child. Parents can access
informations about behaviors for
multiple children and multiple
classrooms.
• Parents can see everything about their
children, such as
notification,messages and class
stories.
What is Class story?
• Class story is where teachers can
share videos, photos and
announcements about their class
with every parent connected to
the class.
What can you do with class story?
• Parents can see with the class story
what`s happening in their child`s
classroom.
• It enables to translate the message into
more than 30 languages
• With Quiet Hours, the teacher won't
receive any notifications for new parent
messages. But the teacher receives
notification, when parents like a class
story.
• In class story only teachers can share
something, but parents can like them .
How to invite parents to Classdojo?
There are three ways to connect parents
to classdojo:
A. Print Parent Invitation Codes
1.Open your class
2.Click on “Invite families”
3.Click the “Download individual
invites” button to download a PDF of
your parent codes, and then print them
from your computer. There will be an
individual code for each student that
families can put into their account and
connect to the student and your class.
B. Invite Parents via Email or Text
1-Open your class
2-Click on "Invite families"
3-Click the student's name whose parent
you would like to invite
4-Click + Connect a parent to enter the
parent's phone number or email address
Once you’ve sent the invite, parents will
get an email or text from us with a link
to accept your invitation. From there,
they will create an account or sign into
their existing account to connect to you.
C. Invite Parents via Class Link
1-Open your class
2-Click on “Invite families”
3-Click "Share one class link" to pull up
a link that you can send to parents. They
will request to connect to a student in
your class with the link and these
requests will need to be verified by you
or a co-teacher
How can give feedback in Classdojo?
• Choose the student which you
want to give feedback.
• Decide what to give feedback.
• Choose the 'positive'  or ' needs
work' button.
