The display unit of Situation Data Display receives data
from the radar data processing system at, gathers the
data from aircraft operating within various radar
stations across the country and then displays flight
routes within the region.
Using an intelligent display system, users can
choose between a 2D map or a multi-layer
output, where the user can choose to display
various data independently,
for instance data on flight routes, reporting
points, destinations, and arrival or departure
routes.
Basic Functions :

Display of radar tracks, plots and weather patterns.

Display of flight plan lists.
Display of holding and coast lists.
Display of aeronautical maps.
Display of restricted areas.
Handling of electronic flight progress strips.
Control of displayed information (Range, etc.).
Support of controller actions (Clearance, etc.).
