Cybercrime?

• Cybercrime may
threaten a person,
company, or a country’s
security

• Cybercrime has surpassed drug
trafficking as the most lucrative
crime
• Almost anybody who is an active
computer/online user would
have been a cybercrime victim,
and in most cases so too its
perpetrators
• 70% of commercial crime cases
now can be categorised as
cybercrime cases
• Between January to July 2020,
RM247 million has been lost to

• In 2019, RM305 million lost
