This union is weakening all the power of the churches.

This investing the church with the power of the state
will bring evil results. Men have almost passed the point
of God's forbearance. They have invested their strength in
politics, and have united with the papacy. But the time will
come when God will punish those who have made void His
law, and their evil work will recoil upon themselves (MS

GET OUT OF THE CITIES!!!
Again and again the Lord has instructed that our people are
to take their families away from the cities, into the country,
where they can raise their own provisions; for in the future the
problem of buying and selling will be a very serious one. We
should now begin to heed the instruction given us over and over
again: Get out of the cities into rural districts, where the houses
are not crowded closely together, and where you will be free

step by step to worldly demands, and conformed to worldly customs, will then
yield to the powers that be, rather than subject themselves to derision, insult,
threatened imprisonment, and death. At that time the gold will be separated from
the dross. . . . Many a star that we have admired for its brilliance will then go
out in darkness. Those who have assumed the ornaments of the sanctuary, but are
not clothed with Christ's righteousness, will then appear in the shame of their own
