PEER-TO-PEER NETWORK
• is created when two or more PCs are connected and
share resources without going through a separate server
computer.
• A communication network that enables users to connect
their computers and share files directly with other users
without having to go through a centralized server.
• A type of LAN whose workstations are capable of being
both clients and servers.
WHAT IS AN IP ADDRESS?
"IP" stands for Internet Protocol
It has two components: the network address and the host
address
What does it mean?
An IP is a set of rules that govern Internet activity and facilitate
completion of a variety of actions on the World Wide Web.
Therefore an Internet Protocol address is part of the
systematically laid out interconnected grid that governs online
communication
How?
by identifying both initiating devices and various Internet
destinations, thereby making two-way communication
possible.
IP can be either static or dynamic.
