Configuration Principles

 The configuration principles of the BTS3012 cabinet are as follows:

 The minimum antenna rule

use as few as possible antennas for cell configuration.
 The minimum cabinet rule
use as few as possible cabinets for cell configuration.
 The complete synchronous cell rule
all TRXs of a synchronous cell are configured in the same cabinet group
 The basic cabinet priority rule
TRXs are configured in the basic cabinet in preference, and the number o
f TRXs in the basic cabinet is not less than that in any extension cabinet

Configuration Principles

 The BTS3012 supports the omnidirectional coverage and the directional co

verage.
 The BTS3012 supports the combination of two cabinets to form one group
and the combination of three cabinet groups.
 The BTS3012 supports the transmit diversity and 4-way diversity receive.

 The DCOM combines two carriers into one channel (the two-into-one functi
on).
 The BTS3012 uses DTRU. One single cabinet supports up to 12 TRXs in f
ull configuration.

Site management right Authority
 The site management right refers to the right to set parameters of the B
TS.
The parameters for the BTS can set through:
A) the remote Site Maintenance System
B) the local site Maintenance Terminal System
 Obtain the site management right before writing data; otherwise, you c
annot write data,
for example, perform a forced software download or software activation. W
ith the site management right, you can read data from the BTS.
 When you operate the BTS through the Site Maintenance Terminal Sy
stem, you cannot
write data to the BTS through the remote Site Maintenance System.
 You cannot operate the BTS through the Site Maintenance Terminal S
ystem and the remote Site Maintenance System at the same time.
 After finishing an operation, release the site management right. After 1
5minutes automatically release.
