What is the interview

• 'Shame in the game: Racism in football' is a documentary from the BBC 3


which discusses the problem of racism in football and asks why there is a
such a big problem of racism in football. Furthermore the interview
doesn’t only talk about famous footballers, it looks at players from lower
leagues as well as female footballers

relates to the topic of the documentary and
the quote is from a famous black footballer,
after the quote is fully shown, sad music

problem in the real world and not fake

and football players who all have been
racially abused by fans, furthermore  the
music becomes more up beat.

there is footage from a football game.

shown in the there was a lot of racism towards the black
players, and the match nearly was cancelled,
footage this again shows the realism of the problem.
• After that footage is played, it cuts to
another clip where it can be heard from fans

10. Title card • Much like the other cards it’s a bold white
sans serif font over footage of a football
game and is the title of the documentary.
• Instead of a clip of an interview it begins to play an
interview of a player in full, it has their name and the
football team they play for in the bottom left of the
screen, the footage from each interview is from a
11. interview studio, with a green screen. The green screen then
show a football location that relates to each
individual, I.e. Andre Gray ( a Watford player) has the
Watford training ground behind him. 
• Moreover, the person they are interviewing is in the
centre of focus and is looking directly at the camera.
• In the interview there is camera from different angles
I.e theres a camera facing the left side of the player
at a low angle, which the interview may cut to.

and date card • There's a card he location of the footage as
well as the date underneath it. The card also
has noise from the stadium 
13. Football • Next is footage from the football game in
footage which Watford had won, it shows the
celebrations from the players which then
juxtaposes the voice over from the players
who were interview, in which show how the
victory led to them being a victim of racism.

from the other team who had lost had
racially abused the winning players
