“Dari PMR Buat PMR”*

*From RCY To RCY

 Last May 2007 PMR (RCY) Pangkalpinang
just held one PMR event for PMR in our
town, Pangkalpinang. The theme was “Dari
PMR Buat PMR” (“From RCY to RCY”). Why
did they use that theme? Because, that
event was arranged by members of PMR and
the participants were PMR members.
The Objectives were to entertain and make friendship between the youth (PMR).
Along that preparation I gave my two
thumbs up to spirit that they have for
making that event going success. They
did well for their jobs; it begun from
looked for the places, spreader the
invitations even put the banner. It seems
they were not tired! They were so busy.
Fortunately, there was great volunteer to
help them.
Firstly they (RCY) discussed about what
activities that they want for that event. After
having long discussion they agreed that the
activities were Hiking, Plant the Trees, and
visiting PMR Sungailiat branch. Which Hiking
and Plant the trees would be held on second
week of May while visiting PMR Sungailiat
branch would be on third week of May.
The reason why they choose hiking was
because it would be fun and entertain them,
and choose plant the trees because they
believe that RCY should care about the
environments.
On the day, it was early morning when they already
at the place where the ceremony would be held (not
far from hiking area). After finished the ceremony,
they planted the trees on MAN which was so barren,
so they hope could make it leafy there.

The participants who came from PMR Madya (junior

high school) and Wira (senior high school) around
Pangkalpinang were ready to hiking! Let’s begin the
hiking! Along the road the participants should pass
the post there was 5 posts, Yell post, and Red Cross
knowledge post and so on. Hot, dirty, and sweaty it
was not big problem
After hiking they went back to MAN (islamic school) for getting.
Even though looked so tired but I saw lots of smile.
They looked so happy and got more happy because
the committees already prepared The games! So Fun!!!
 Hmm…the sky was getting
darker and time for that day
was
over. It was
time to say
goodbye. So, they closed
that agenda.
