 In 1984 the character face the

dangers of totalitarianism, are
constantly under strict
surveillance and censorship.
 What Happened to Monday?
What happened to Monday is an example of a dystopian movie in which you
follow the journey of.

In a world where families are allowed only one child due to overpopulation,
resourceful identical septuplets must avoid governmental execution and
dangerous infighting while investigating the disappearance of one of their own.

In this movie we see the government is in complete control how many children
each couple can have. If you had more than one child, they would take the second
one and put it into a cryo-sleep chamber until the world could handle a larger
population.

We soon find out they were killing these children.

 Similarities Between
Both
In both 1984 and What Happened to Monday we see a
totalitarian government.

We see similarities in the characters because in both stories we

have characters that are against this totalitarian government and
some that try to enforce it.

They both show the gruel environment they live in and how
emotion is very shunned against by these totalitarian
governments.
