of changes in electrical impedance produced by a particle passing through a
n aperture.

 HGB is determined by the colorimetric method.

 Lyse will release HGB when RBC was broken down and react with
HGB to generate a mixture for HGB measurement.
 The mixture has the biggest absorbance at 540nm.

2.1.2 Installation Requirements

Environment Space Power

 At least 40 cm on each side, which is the preferred

access to perform service procedures

 At least 10 cm behind for cabling and ventilation

 There is enough room on or below the countertop to

accommodate the diluent, rinse and waste containers.
(reagents bottle better be the same level of the machine).

 single phase with ground (confirmed third-wire earth ground);
 voltage of zero curve to ground should be ≤5V
 voltage: 100 VAC - 240 VAC;
 frequency: 50/60±1 Hz
 fuse: 250V T4A
 Better to have an UPS: 500W
 Properly grounded socket or connect the grounding pole at the
back of the analyzer to the ground.

Input power from power supply board (12V 、 30V)

 The driving board drives the valves, pumps and motors.

 It carries out the following instructions sent by the CPU:
to open/close the pumps or solenoid valves;
to control the motors of the syringes;
to control the movement of the sample probe;
to remain the torques of the motors when the analyzer
has entered the screen saver.

2.6.1 Adjust Gain

97 © 2013 Mindray Confidential

General

Adjust the Gain of the Channel in the Following Situations:

 Replace count bath

 Replace aperture

 Replace analog signal board, CPU board, DOM

WBC (whole blood), WBC (pre-diluted), RBC, HGB and PL

T

98 © 2013 Mindray Confidential

Gain of WBC Channel

 too small WBC gain that should be increased

 too large WBC gain that should be decreased

99 © 2013 Mindray Confidential

Gain of WBC Channel

 Use normal volunteers’ fresh EDTA-K2 anticoagulant

venous blood;
 Make the end position of histograms of most blood
samples between 320-350fl;
 Set up WBC (pre-diluted) gain the same as the WBC
(whole blood) gain.

100 © 2013 Mindray Confidential

Gain of RBC/PLT Channel

 When the difference between the actual MCV anal

ysis result and the expected result exceeds 6%, ne
ed to change the RBC gain.
 For example, assuming the expected MCV result i
s 90.0fL, while the actual analysis result is 82.0fL, t
he gain factor as below:
ExpectedMCV 90.0
=  1.098
ActualMCV 82.0

101 © 2013 Mindray Confidential

Gain of HGB Channel

• Modify the background voltage value of HGB

within the range of 3.4-4.8V (4.5V recommended).

Daily maintenance

If it works day and night or the sample volume is more than 100
per day, execute “E-Z cleanser cleaning” operation once every
day.

If the quantity of samples more than 50pcs, set the “Auto clean
time” 4 hours.

If the user turns off the instrument every day, the user should
execute “probe cleanser cleaning” operation once every three
days. Or do it when the machine remind you.

Use E-Z cleanser to execute shutdown program.

Dispose the waste liquid
