Astra Agro Lestari engage in the activity of agriculture and in order to achieve
the said purpose and objective, the Company implement and execute its
business activities in plantation and agro industry.

CSR Program and Description

1. Education Sector
By using environment based school, school development committees,
learning culture, scholarship, etc.
2. Health Sector
By providing Medical Services for the Orang Rimba, Integrated Service Post,
Facilitation of Healthy Lifestyle, etc.
3. Economic Sector
By driving Astra Berseri Village Program, Partnership Program through
Empowering Smallholders/Partners, etc.
4. Environment Sector
By educating the community to take environmental care, Waste Management,
etc.
5. Livelihood
By providing Adequacy of Basic Food Needs, Agricultural Learning Center
(Suluh Rimbo), etc.

In the beginning report they said that they must continue to maintain and strengthen sustainability effort in
order to achieve the initiatives that have been set while also providing benefits for the development of
education, health, environmental management, and the welfare of the surrounding community.

they do it sustainable and persistent in every year.

replicable in terms of the purpose and also the feasibility.

Several concern from Astra Agro Lestari indicates that

their awareness of sustainability for the long-term
condition of the business, and that awareness is applied
to the several programs that could be followed by others
agricultural company.

Astra Agro Lestari also follow several strandarization, such

as ISPO and PROPER, that the criteria can be accessed by
everyone.
