WHAT IS PICTURE CLUES?

Images in a book which provide hints and indications about the


text by invoking certain words in the reader’s mind.
EXAMPLES:

The dog ran after the ball Vince went to the park The cat sat on the grass.
WHAT IS CONFIGURATION CLUES?

Configuration Clues are whole-word clues by which associations


are made between the shape or visual features of the words or
letters.
