PROJECT TITLE:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: THE PURPOSE OF
THIS PROJECT IS AWARENESS THE
IMPORTANCE AND THE PROTECTION OF THE
ENVIRONMENT. AND UNDERSTANDING THE
CAUSES OF PROBLEMS, RELATING TO THE
ENVIRONMENT AND IDENTIFYING
PROBLEMS AND FINDING SOLUTIONS THAT
HAVE HUGE IMPACT ON THE GLOBAL
SYSTEM, OR ECOSYSTEM AND THE OVERALL
OF THIS PROJECT WILL HELP OUR
ENVIRONMENT GOOD THROUGH A BRIEF
DISSCUSSION AND LECTURE OF THIS
PROJECT.
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

THE ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES ARE MAJOR GLOBAL

PROBLEM OF IMPORTANT CONCERN. DUE TO INCREASING
HUMAN POPULATION AND DEVELOPMENTS IN EVERY
SECTOR, THE ENVIRONMENTAL RELATED ISSUES ARE
MULTIPLYING IN THE RECENT YEARS WITH A DIVERSITY
OF PROBLEMS FOCUSING THE ULTIMATE NEED FOR
ALTERNATIVE SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES TO
SAFEGUARD OUR MOTHER NATURE. THE HUMAN’S DESIRE
TO MODERN TECHNOLOGIES AND CHANGING LIFESTYLE
PATTERNS POSE SERIOUS THREAT ON THE ENVIRONMENT
AND DUE TO THE FACT, THE POLLUTION LEVELS ARE
ALARMING DAY BY DAY. IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE
SUSTAINABLE AND EQUITABLE DEVELOPMENTS, IT IS SO
SIGNIFICANT TO CHOOSE POLICIES AND PROGRAM THAT
SUPPORT EFFICIENT USE OF RESOURCES AND IMPLEMENT
TECHNOLOGIES WHICH SHOW THE WAY TO REDUCE THE
ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE, THUS RESULT IN
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.
THE IMPORTANCE OF ENVIRONMENT
ENVIRONMENT IS THE KEY FOR EXISTENCE OF LIFE ON EARTH, WITHOUT IT, THERE CAN BE NO LIFE ON EARTH, IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM THERE ARE BIG PLANTS
BUT, HAVE NO LIFE DUE TO LACK OF ENVIRONMENT BEINGS. SO BELOW WE WILL SEE THE IMPORTANCE OF ENVIRONMENT FOR VARIOUS ROLES IN LIFE.

FOR HEALTHY LIVING

BETTER BREATH

BETTER WATER

BETTER RAINFALL

BETTER PLANTS
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
IN RECENT YEARS, SCIENTIST HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY EXAMINING
THE WAYS THAT PEOPLE AFFECT THE ENVIRONMENT. THEY FOUND
THAT WE ARE CAUSING AIR POLLUTION, DEFORESTATION, ACID
RAIN AND OTHER PROBLEMS THAT ARE DANGEROUS BOTH TO
EARTH AND TO OURSELVES.
THIS THE REASON AND CAUSES WHY OUR ENVIRONMENT IS
DAMAGED
• Industrial activities: The industries all over the world that brought prosperity and affluence, made
inroads in the biosphere and disturbed the ecological balances. The pall of smoke, the swirling gases,
industrial effluents and the fall-out of scientific experiments became constant health hazards, polluting
and contaminating both air and water. The improper disposal of industrial wastes are the sources of
soil and water pollution. Chemical waste resulting from industry can pollute lakes, rivers and seas and
soil too as well as releasing fumes.
• Dumping solid waste: Household and commercial waste pollutes the environment when not disposed
of properly.
• Vehicles: The smoke emitted by vehicles using petrol and diesel and the cooking coal also pollutes the
environment. The multiplication of vehicles, emitting black smoke that, being free and unfettered,
spreads out and mixes with the air we breathe. The harmful smoke of these vehicles causes air
pollution. Further, the sounds produced by these vehicles produces causes noise-pollution.
• Rapid urbanization and industrialization: The urbanization and the rapid growth of industrialization
are causing through environmental pollution the greatest harm to the plant life, which in turn causing
harm to the animal kingdom and the human lives.
• Population overgrowth: Due to the increase in population, particularly in developing countries, there
has been surge in demand for basic food, occupation and shelter. The world has witnessed massive
deforestation to expand absorb the growing population and their demands.
• Combustion of fossil fuels: The combustion of fossil fuels pollutes the air, the soil and the water with
noxious gases such as CO2 and CO.
• Agricultural waste: Fertilizers and pesticides used in agriculture are key causes of environmental
pollution.

DEFORESTATION
THIS IS THE MAJOR PROBLEMS OF
OUR ENVIRONMENT
POLLUTION
THESE ARE THE REASON WHY OUR
NATURE IS GETTING WORSE

POLLUTION
TYPES:

AIR POLLUTION

WATER POLLUTION

SOIL POLLUTION

NOISE POLLUTION

RADIOACTIVE POLLUTION

LIGHT POLLUTION
Pollution is the process of making land, water, air or other parts
of the environment dirty and not safe or suitable to use. This can
be done through the introduction of a contaminant into a natural
environment, but the contaminant doesn't need to be tangible.
Things as simple as light, sound and temperature can be
considered pollutants when introduced artificially into an
environment.
THE EFFECTS OF OUR ENVIRONMENT IF WE DO NOT CARE OUR
ECOSYSTEM

 Environmental Pollution occurs when pollutants contaminate the

surroundings; which brings about changes that affect our normal
lifestyles adversely. Pollutants are the key elements or components of
pollution which are generally waste materials of different forms.
Pollution disturbs our ecosystem and the balance in the environment.
With modernization and development in our lives pollution has reached
its peak; giving rise to global warming and human illness.

 Toxic environmental pollution affects more than 200 million people

worldwide, according to Pure Earth, a non-profit environmental
organization. In some of the world’s worst polluted places, babies are
born with birth defects, children have lost 30 to 40 IQ points, and life
expectancy may be as low as 45 years because of cancers and other
diseases. Let us discuss the different types of pollution, their causes and
effects on mankind and the environment as a whole.
CLIMATE CHANGE
TARGET BENEFICIARIES
 THIS PROJECT IS AIMED AT
ADDRESSING THE ENVIRONMENTAL
AWARENESS SUCH ISSUES OF OUR
ENVIRONMENT AND PROPOSING
SOLUTIONS AND GIVING DUE
ACTIVITIES BY NGO’S AND OTHER
GROUPS AT LOCAL AND NATION
LEVEL. THE PROJECT WILL AIM TO
MAKE AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE
TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM.
TIME FRAME
 1ST SATURDAY MORNING (9-11AM) LECTURE
(WHAT IS THE EFFECTS OF OUR
ENVIRONMENT IF WE DON’T CARE AND OR
AWARE OF OUR ENVIRONMENT.
 2ND SATURDAY AFTERNOON (1PM) LECTURE
HOW TO KEEP OUR ENVIRONMENT GREEN
AND GOOD AND TO PREVENT THE HARM OF
OUR NATURE OR OUR ECOSYSTEM.
 3RD. SATURDAY AFTERNOON (3-4PM)
CLEANING & TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY.
 MATERIAL MEANS: PROJECTOR
OBJECTIVE & GOALS
 1. TO CREATE ENVIRONMENTAL CONCIOUSNESS AMONG THE
PEOPLE OF ALL AGES.
 2. TO BRING TO THE ATTENTION OF DECISION MAKERS THE
ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES THAT CONCERNS PEOPLE.
 3. TO DEVELOP A WORLD IN WHICH PERSONS ARE AWARE OF
AND CONCERNED ABOUT ENVIRONMENT AND THE
PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH IT, AND COMMITTED TO WORK
INDIVIDUALLY AS WELL AS COLLECTIVELY TOWARDS
SOLUTIONS OF CURRENT PROBLEMS AND PREVENTION OF
FUTURE PROBLEMS.
 4. CONSERVE AND IMPROVE THE ENVIRONMENT FOR ITS
PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.
 5. TO PROTECT AND ENHANCE THE BEAUTIFICATION OF OUR
NATURE AND TO PREVENT THE CAUSES OF DESTRUCTION OF
NATURE.
The absolute goal of our environmental work is that our industrial processes should have the
lowest possible impact on the environment. Our strategy is to stay one step ahead of official
requirements by implementing an active environmental management system and to continuously
improve our environmental standard.

GOING GREEN IS EASIER THAN YOU THINK. THERE ARE LITTLE THINGS
YOU CAN DO EVERYDAY TO HELP REDUCE GREENHOUSE GASES AND
MAKE A LESS HARMFUL IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT.
To achieve this we undertake a number of specific actions, e.g. in the following areas:
1. PAY ATTENTION TO HOW YOU USE WATER.

2. WALK OR RIDE YOUR BIKE TO WORK, SCHOOL AND ANYWHERE YOU

CAN.
3. RECYCLE

4. COMPOST

5. TURN OFF LIGHTS WHEN YOU’RE NOT IN THE ROOM AND UNPLUG
APPLIANCES WHEN YOU’RE NOT USING THEM.
6. PLANT SEEDS .

7. ENERGY SAVING.

8. MAINTAIN YOUR CAR.

9. DRIVE SMARTER
TOWARDS THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE
ENVIRONMENT, THIS PROJECT HOPES TO…
1. To encourage environmental awareness amongst the people.
2. To reduce the quantity of polluting substances discharged into the
environment.
3. To minimize the impact of all our activities on our surroundings.

4. To recycle and reuse products wherever possible.

5. Minimize the impact on the environment

6. No observable effect on the environment

7. Minimize the generation and volumes of waste for disposal

8. Achieve effective waste management

9. Correctly segregate and label waste offshore to facilitate onshore disposal

10. Zero release of contaminating in our environment

FOR OUR SELF DEVELOPMENT, WE
ARE IMPLEMENTING THIS PROJECT
TO…
The group wanted to help our environment good and
realize that if we save nature can save
us. environment can be met without reducing its
capacity to allow all people to live well, now and in the
future. Therefore, it is now recognized worldwide that
the fundamental principle of forest management should
be based on conservation and sustainable utilization of
natural resources, without affecting its productive and
ecological functions. Environment protection and
Economic development must go together. It would be
a great privilege for us to help our environment and be
part of the changes of our life.
