Brain Tumors
Women are less prone to brain tumors than men. The
following are factors that increase the risk of developing
cancer: exposure to ionizing radiation, such as X-rays, or
to chemical carcinogens. No study has been shown yet
that radio waves from cell phones can cause cancer. This
may be because cell phones are a relatively new invention
and it may take many years for cancer to develop. Some
doctors are recommending the use of headset, which may
keep the wave-emitting part of the phone away from the
brain.
